Dr Manuel Bautista

Dr Manuel Bautista graduated from dental school in Colombia in 2005, the same year he moved to Melbourne. In 2009 he passed his Australian Dental Council exams and started his journey working as a dentist in Australia alongside experienced dentists in Melbourne when he reinforced his desire on becoming a dental implant professional.

In 2011 Dr Manuel Bautista founded Plenty Smiles. Establishing his clinic, he started with three chairs and invited talented colleagues to work with him, and in 2012 he placed his first dental implant.

With continuous training alongside experts in the matter in 2016, he started to perform the All-On-4® technique. The same year, he travelled to Lisbon, Portugal to learn more about All-On-4® directly from Paulo Malo, creator of All-On-4®.

Since then, Dr Manuel kept perfecting the technique and incorporating the assistance of digital dentistry to enhance the outcomes of his All-On-4® patients and to elevate the quality of his treatments.

During these years in the making, Plenty Smiles gradually became a leader providing high-quality dental services in the northern suburbs of Melbourne and specialising in dental implants and cosmetic dentistry.

Working alongside his brother and practice manager Jose, they together have more than ten years of experience in the industry. Both combine talent and expertise to construct a dental practice that is the leader in dental implants—with State of The Art technology in dentistry, maintaining high-quality standards for procedures, materials and components in prosthetics. Moreover, challenging themselves to build long-lasting relationships with each patient.

Dr Manuel Bautista travelled in 2019 to Konstanz, Germany to meet and to be mentored by Dr Karl Ulrich Volz a World leader in biological dentistry.

Zygomatic Implant Technique

Dr Manuel has been trained in Zygomatic Implant Rehabilitation alongside Dr Carlos Aparicio, creator of the ZAGA Method; an advanced approach in restorative dentistry to attend to complex cases of teeth loss with severe bone loss.
